A Pretty Legs Contest Held in Seoul, Korea

This came across as news to me, apparently, there was a public "pretty legs" contest held in downtown Seoul, Korea.  I never heard of events like this but what's even more surprising was that it was held in Cheonggyecheon, which is a man-made stream in the center of Seoul that's been one of human engineering marvels.  The event took place on August 9th, 2008 and from what I've seen on other websites, it had a lot of spectators.   More images after the jump~

This girl placed 1st!  In case anyone is wondering why these girls are wearing big sunglasses or masks, it's to protect their identity since most of these contestants are "everyday" civilians~
